April Pictures

Saturday cello group class at 8 a.m. Every. Saturday. Lamoni is such a good sport. Good news is the next level cello class this fall is at 9 a.m.!

Conference selfie

We love taking family walks by the river. It's so nice to live this close to it!

Peter folding his arms and watching conference.

Not sure why I took this but it's cute!

I got the flu...like the real flu, and didn't leave my bed for 3 days. Lamoni took the boys to the Aquarium and botanical gardens on Saturday while I slept. He ran into some old friends who took this picture for them.

Finger suckers

Family tennis on Saturday

Waiting at Joy School for pickup.

Trip to the Aquarium. Benjamin was NOT a fan of the sharks. He ran past them as fast as he could.

This year's dentist visit went much better than last time. He cooperated and did everything the hygienist and dentist asked him to do. It's a kid-friendly place and we love the dentist at Peachtree Dental.

Sometimes on Friday we go have lunch with Lamoni at the VA.

Mommy date after Saturday cello class. We like to get a cinnamon roll at Frontier's and go over to the grass and run around.

Chick Fil-A playground

Giving Uncle Jacob slobbery kisses.

Smith's recently introduced Click List. I LOVE it. Order groceries online, schedule pickup, drive up and they load them. It's amazing.

We've been talking about moving, so I've been sentimental about all the little things that I love at our house. This is my view from the kitchen window and I love it.

I've been wanting to get Bob books for awhile, and Joseph gave them to me for my birthday. He enjoys giving my children things for *my* presents. Haha. Well, Benjamin caught right on and can read 7 of 10 books in the 1st set. Most of them he does as sight words but sounding out words is starting to click.

Trying to show Daddy he can climb just as high. Benjamin is in a phase that he can do everything better, faster, higher etc. He even prayed that he could "beat everyone all the time." I'm trying to give him lots of practice in being a good sport.

His personality and fun-ness is really coming out.

We got a zoo membership and went with some friends on this day. Benjamin had an absolute breakdown that we didn't have a wagon (we had only gone to the zoo with a wagon before) so Charity spontaneously came with us to the zoo with the wagon and that made everything better. Peter is a risk-taker and likes to stand in the wagon (and the bath).

Makeshift double stroller. ;-) We actually bought a really nice double stroller, but when we put it in the back of our SUV it took up the entire space. We figured with how big it was we wouldn't actually take it with us very often so we returned it.

All 3 boys wrestle together.

I have lots of helpers who take him during church while I'm doing primary duties. Lamoni is currently in the Young Men's presidency and sometimes our busy-ness overlaps.

2 of his past times - pulling all the pencils down from my music stand and banging on the back door for me to let him out. He goes in and outside by himself. He would stay outside all day if the concrete didn't get too hot. He loves it out there.

For some reason they like to play behind the chair together.

The play place at the mall is a fun spot to hang out. Peter is so brave and does everything alone (he even climbs the stairs to the slide but still needs some help going down so he doesn't topple over).

Getting ready for cello lesson to start.

We were supposed to go to the Sam's house for Easter but with me sick and Peter still nursing Lamoni stayed home with me to take care of the boys. We did an Easter egg hunt at our house that morning but I must have not gotten any pictures of that. Later that day Lamoni and the boys went to the Lanctot house for another hunt.
