November 2018

Those eyes and the hair!! And the chubby cheeks. <3

At grandma's house for dinner looking at books with Katheryn.

They weren't actually sleeping - but it was still cute.

More swimming lessons with Audrey.

A lady from church who has taken the boys under her wings gave Benjamin this batman cup along with hot cocoa and marshmallows for his birthday.

I took Benjamin to his first concert (that he didn't play in). It was an Albuquerque Youth Symphony concert with a cello soloist. He of course sat amazingly through it and was happy to see they had cake at the reception afterwards! It was a fun mommy date.

Missionary badge and tie.

Peter's first dental appointment. He was easily "sedated" with a movie.

This large rock is outside the church where Benjamin has his math and art classes. The boys climb up and jump off a few times every time we leave.

Walking through stores can be difficult with Peter.

My brother, Ryan, had his birthday party at a store in the mall that has real exotic animals that the kids could touch.

Saying prayer.

Audrey wanted the boys to get used to wearing their goggles so they wore them in their baths.

Another art project of Benjamin's - I think it's a rocket. Note how he is sleeping in his goggles.

Benjamin had 7 (!!!) cavities! His molars are close together and I guess flossing 1-2 times a week wasn't enough. The dentist filled them in 2 sessions. The first one Lamoni brought him and they gave him laughing gas. I didn't know that, though, so when I brought him to the 2nd session I insisted that he didn't need laughing gas because he didn't have it the first time and did fine. I ended up winning despite the reservations of the Dr and hygienist. He did totally fine and only flinched once. When I got home and told Lamoni about it we had a good laugh when I heard he actually had used laughing gas!

At grandma and bampa's house with a ton of cousins.

Courtney and her family were staying at a hotel so we got to go swimming there.

Movies while I was teaching.

A visit in the cold to the temple. Neither of the boys like to be cold.
