In July we watched one of my friend's 2 kids while she was undergoing cancer treatments, then we dropped them off in Arizona on our way to California for a conference and Legoland! We were short a seat in the car on the way there, so Rebecca and I flew there and then drove home. Joy came with us to babysit!
Rebecca outgrew her bassinet and moved into a crib in her own room.
The boys bought swords at Legoland.
Liam's favorite place was probably a building station where you could design and build a ferrari and then race it on multiple tracks. We spent hours there!
Liam also loved the small toilets and sinks. He appreciates begin catered to!
We went to the beach a couple of times. Some of my favorite childhood memories are of the beaches in California, so I love to see my kids playing there.
We went to church in one of the wards where Lamoni had been a missionary.
And met up with some people he had taught and baptized there.
Joy hung out at the Airbnb with the boys, who built a huge Lego boat that Bea had given them.
Benjamin hung out in the lobby of the hotel where our meeting was held a few times so the baby could be close to me.
We had some fun, calm mother/daughter time. I was so grateful to have a little break and not drive with everyone! :-)
We attended a baseball game.
We celebrated baby Olive's birthday by going to Olive Garden, and had a celebration for her at the cemetary.
We love getting invitations to swim at friends' houses.
The boys made Rebecca a throne and gave her a scepter.
Lamoni walking 6 kids to the park while I drove...
Lots of Bananagrams! It has helped Benjamin's spelling more than anything else.
Our nectarine tree went crazy this summer. Most of our apricots died in our annual late freeze.

Introducing the Princess Bride early.
Liam and Bea are penpals
We did soccer camp again this summer, and Liam agreed to participate on the last day with some very heavy bribes!
Peter is so sweet with Rebecca. All the boys are!
This is what our 4 year old does for fun...look at instruction manuals.
Massive water balloon
I go on a nightly walk with Rebecca around the neighborhood.
The boys call this "Universal Studios".
