October 2021

Liam calls all food "dinner". As soon as he wakes up in the morning he demands "Want dinner! Want dinner!"

The trunk or treat at church. Peter was ironman and Benjamin was Harry Potter.

For our homeschool group we did poetry recitations. Benjamin was the tree while Peter recited "Elf in a Tree" and Benjamin made an adaptation of "Lemon Pie" to "Cherry Pie".

Kathryn and Peter played a duet at Benjamin's baptism.

Grandma Bear and Sybrina came for Benjamin's baptism. Mel and Melinda couldn't come since they were recovering from Covid.

Lots of family and friends joined on Zoom...

....and came in person.

Peter went up for the nursery song in the primary program.

Peter named this Emu "Sybi" after his cousin.

We went to dinner at Pars Cuisine with my parents.  All the kids ended up on Papa's lap watching a show.

I looked outside one day and saw this.

Peter likes to be right with us every time Peter practices.

Liam eats about 15 foods. Total.

Visiting the temple. Liam has been obsessed since we went to Utah and saw the temples everywhere.

Taking the training wheels off of Peter's bike.

A thank you card that Benjamin made me.

Liam thoroughly enjoyed the cupcakes from Jacob and Kathryn's wedding reception.

They're not allowed to come downstairs until their morning routine is done. So they do this.

October is always dress up month since we have the Halloween bin down with a bunch of costumes.

We did the Aspen Vista Hike to see the beautiful trees. It was gorgeous and incredibly hard with a toddler on my back. It got pretty steep!

Liam books it for the toys first thing in the morning.

Benjamin got the Harry Potter costume he had seen at Costco. Peter ended up loving it so much that he got one too.

Benjamin opted for pie instead of cake for his birthday. I think it's just because Lamoni likes pie better than cake and the boys do everything he does. I think that because Benjamin took about 3 bites of the pie and then was done!

Sabrina and Riley came over to play games on Benjamin's birthday.

My parents with all their grandkids at Jacob and Kathryn's wedding.

They got married in Provo.

We went up early and spent time with all of Lamoni's siblings. Here we are at a Halloween village with Courtney's family. It was so fun!

We went to a dinosaur museum with Courtney's family as well.

All these pictures are out of order! Here is Jacob and Kathryn's wedding reception.

Outside the temple waiting for them to make their grand exit.

We packed the car! We gave grammy a ride to SLC from Faith and Jason's house, so we had to put the 3rd row of our car up, which is where all the luggage had gone. Somehow Lamoni made it all fit!

We had a blast at Temple Square despite the rain.

We heard a preview of an organ concert at the old tabernacle.

Benjamin is my new photographer. He grabs my phone and takes pictures for me now. It's great!

This is the Brigham City Temple. We met Mel and Melinda there and walked the grounds. They were still recovering from Covid so we didn't see them much. Peter loved this temple so much. At one point he disappeared and we found him kneeling in front of it saying a prayer. It was really sweet.

We went to The Treehouse Museum in Ogden with Faith and Jason's family.

We watched a couple sessions of General Conference with Courtney's family. Peter fell asleep on my lap which is a rare occurrence!

It was good to spend time with them and renew cousin relationships.

We spent the first couple of days at a family friend's house. We watched conference with them.

Between sessions we took a hike in the mountains and found this fun dirt that looked like snow.

On the way up to Utah we stopped at the Aztec ruins. Peter said "Those old Indians didn't finish it!"

Sorry the pictures were all out of order! We had a fun-filled packed October!
