September 2021

We got our house all ready for some people to stay in it while we were out of town.

Showing off his haircut

Before and after his first haircut.

Pretending to be asleep.

At Jacob and Kathryn's wedding reception.

Here are all the cupcakes Kathryn's sister made for the reception.

Helping me bake.

The boys push Liam around at full speed. When they stop he screams "gin gin!" (again again!)

At an apple orchard picking apples.

Almost always in some costume.

Benjamin celebrated Pioneer Day with the primary activity kids at the church. It was his first stake primary activity!

Stacking up the spices while we cooked dinner. He would get so frustrated when it would fall!

Peter and Liam play so well together.

At a favorite tour of ours at Schwebach Farms. We ride on a hay wagon, learn about farming and get to harvest a few vegetables.

Peter drew this unique picture. I enjoy seeing the difference in style between his and Benjamin's drawings.

Acting out Harry Potter.

Benjamin giving a talk in Primary.

We had our 2nd homeschool camping trip this year. We went to the same place. The boys like that because they anticipate all the fun thing they did the previous time - playing in the stream, working on their fort, swinging in the hammocks...

Playing football with friends.

Lamoni always makes a morning fire.

We borrowed Faith and Jason's tent. It was so nice and spacious. The baby slept a few hours in his playpen.

If the boys have a choice between anything and spending time with Lamoni, they always choose Lamoni.

Acting out Samuel the Lamanite.

A couple of parks near us have great climbing trees.

This is Peter's PE class. Both boys love their classes.

We worked hard all day on Labor Day around the house, then went to the park to play some tennis together. As I chased after a ball, Peter exclaimed, "Wow! I've never seen mom run!"

Olivia was such a great swimming teacher! The boys learned a ton.

We did school and played on the patio during lessons.

Our homeschool group had a book club about William Bradford. We dressed up like the pilgrims and discussed the book. We also went on a fun activity where we had experiences like in the book. It was so fun! Benjamin was Squanto, Peter was William, and Liam was William's lamb, Mercy.
