October 2020

Charity always hosts the best parties! Here we are at the Halloween party they held.

The zoo opened back up! We love the penguin exhibit.

We got a huge early snow.

Peter got a pumpkin from his primary teacher *and* at Joy School. We ate lots of pumpkin cookies.

Liam eats apples that he finds from Peter, hides them under the couch, and then retrieves them when he's ready for them again.

We got ice cream and then went to the botanic gardens.

I have two cupboards without child locks and Liam quickly found both of them.

Peter is in the stage where he is in a costume and a different world 90% of the time.

Benjamin reads his school stories aloud to Peter most days.

A family at church invited us over for dinner and asked us to bring our instruments and give them a concert.

A balloon got tangled up in our very high fan. It was so funny watching Lamoni try to get it out.

Watching church from home.

Faith and the kids came to visit

Adelina was such a helper with Liam.

Benjamin got to play his favorite game, Villainous (which he got for his birthday), with his cousins.

Liam learning how to brush teach from Peter. We brush them at night and they brush themselves in the morning. It has been a good compromise.

Liam will crawl to the bookshelf, pull down a book, flip through the pages, then grab another.

This is how working from home has been going for Lamoni. We love it!!

We have been going on lots of walks around the neighborhood.

Lamoni makes the BEST homemade pizzas. He has it down to a science.

A tradition we have is letting the birthday boy pick out any cereal he wants for his birthday. Here they are eating Benjamin's Captain Crunch.

More Villainous

My dad is soooooo good with Peter. It's a sad day at church when Papa isn't there for Peter to sit with.

Sunday family dinner celebrating Benjamin and Audrey's birthdays.

We had a birthday party with a few friends. Benjamin requested a tart of course, since that's what Lamoni chooses. He settled for fruit pizza.

The cake and frosting he picked out.

Balloon Fiesta was canceled this year, but there were still a few balloons out. This is at the park next to our house.

This was on a hike in Santa Fe.

We recorded Families Can be Together Forever for our ward primary program that we did virtually.

Watching general conference

Playing General Conference Bingo

This is my 7th year helping to put on the ward Halloween party. I don't know how we were allowed to do it with Covid restrictions, but I got permission. We did just the primary, not the ward, and masks/social distancing. I think everyone was so happy for a tiny glimmer of normal.
