Nov part 2

Lots of people came to see Liam the first few weeks. For some reason I had a lot of anxiety with Liam about him getting sick, so everyone was careful to wash hands and cover their clothes when holding him. It was such a nice enjoyable few weeks. I had decided this time to not rush back to normal, but to embrace the holiday weeks and soak in the newborn-ness because I know how fast it goes! I'm so glad I did. It was worth every baby snuggle. It was so nice to have Lamoni home for a couple of weeks and then have the holidays off later in December too.

Joy got to hold him just a few times before she got sick and quarantined herself away from us for a couple of weeks!

The boys can't get enough of him.

Grace got to hold him a few times before she moved away.

Grandma and Bampa came down to meet Liam.

It was so cozy with the Christmas tree and the holidays to sit around and recover.

Nathaniel and Katheryn were excited to see him as well!

Our newborns are always enthralled by Lamoni's faces and sounds he makes.

He is so alert and very much like Benjamin was as a baby. Just not nearly as difficult, thank goodness!

...as in he actually sleeps!

Exactly a week after he was born (which remember was the first snow), it snowed again on Thanksgiving day!

The boys had a blast with Lamoni, making snowmen and going for walks up the hill across from our house.

If I were helping the boys make a snowman it would not have looked as amazing, I promise!

Grandma Kara came over to bring my favorite breakfast, strata, and hold Liam.

Our first family car ride to Charity's house for Thanksgiving dinner.

Faith and Jason and their kids were able to come down for Thanksgiving and meet Liam. It was such a fun family dinner.

First bath. Peter stripped right down and hopped in despite our protests!

Peter reading a book to Liam.

Lots of time for playing with Daddy.

Qunisa and Dantes came with Mel and Melinda to visit.

This is from earlier in November - I had a studio recital that Benjamin and Peter both played at.

More pictures I missed from the birth.
