May

This is his throw up bowl (unused ;-) while he wasn't feeling good. He obviously started feeling better!

"blankie blankie"

My Mother's Day breakfast from Lamoni

Exploring the temple grounds

No hands!

He obviously wasn't into hugging like Yoshi was.

All the siblings/cousins came together for Memorial Day, Lamoni's graduation party and May bday parties.

Tractor rides at Bampa and Grandma's house with cousins

On a walk to see the cows

Wagon rides when Lamoni finished the tractor rides

Charity's Baby Shower

Who can change the diaper faster?

She got well-stocked with baby girl items. I will laugh if they have a boy!!

Faith did a great job with the games

Mommy went all out with the food as usual

Homemade quilt from Laura Thurgood

I don't even want to know how many watermelon cupcakes Benjamin ate....

Graduation

My graduation...
Lamoni's graduation.

And the future graduate:

New Mexico Highlands University Just the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho campuses and it was packed!

It felt like a fake ending, though, because he was right on to starting his Master's this week!

April

Waffle fail. I had made waffles one morning and put the last one on as two students got here. Somewhere in the middle of their almost 2 hours of lessons I smelt the awful burning smell. The entire inside of the waffle was hallow - that's how burnt it was!

Here's a better one. Monkey bread for Easter. That's my favorite part of Easter food. It was my first year to make it myself and although it takes forever to make (it rises 3 times) it was worth it in the end because I didn't have to ask anyone permission to snitch. It was so satisfying that I could just go into the kitchen, pinch some off and eat it. I love being an adult.

Watching Saturday general conference at home.

We were out shopping and this is how Benjamin kept himself occupied. So cute that he's already building forts!

On a walk, smelling the flowers and peering at the dogs.

These berries have kept him occupied for a long time. Luckily he doesn't eat them.

Playing "tar" with daddy. He thinks the Ukulele is his own guitar.

He's had lots of daddy time since Lamoni has been on break. It has been nice.

This is a Charlie book (thank you Ortiz family) and the way that Benjamin will now finally eat a vegetable. Yes, you heard that right. A vegetable. Carrots. Ever since I pointed out to him that the book is about a carrot and gave one to him he's liked them since. The catch is that he doesn't swallow them. He chews it up in his mouth and then keeps it there forever. I find stashes of chewed up carrot (and apple peel) throughout the house. Hopefully he still gets nutritional value from the carrot juice! Don't worry, I give him his vitamins every day!

He's big into pillows and blankets right now and always has to have some on him if he's sitting down.

This is in the orchards while taking family pictures on Easter.

Football!

That's him saying "yucky yucky" on the left and bringing me flowers on the right.

Celebrating me and Grace's birthday

Lamoni is really good at photo editing.

Cousin time at the Lanctot house!

He's still obsessed with keys. Here he is trying to open the door at Blakes with our keys, and this is where we found Lamoni's keys after he had searched everywhere for them and eventually had to take mine! The back of the air filter.
