October 2022

For Halloween Liam was Batman, Peter was Toothless and Benjamin Hiccup from How to Train a Dragon. Lamoni literally spent the entire week before Halloween working on their costumes with every spare minute. The pictures don't do the details justice.

We had our church Trunk or Treat on Saturday and then went to our neighbors on actual Halloween.

We took family pictures and Liam flat out refused to smile. In the parking lot he finally smiled because we were getting donuts for everyone who smiled...

I took this picture while I was teaching. It was so cute to see him playing with his legos next to me perfectly content.

Benjamin made this visual for a poem he was doing for poetry recitations. Above is Peter trying it out, and below is Benjamin reciting his poem.

Peter always runs hot. He has no problem removing clothing to cool down.

Benjamin decorated his own birthday cake. It's Big Ben.

Note the double decker bus behind Big Ben, and the London Eye in the top right corner.

Playing in the ball pit at Urban Air jump park

When Katheryn and Nathaniel are here they all play nonstop.

Liam has joined in the fun of dressing up. Here he is as a pirate.

We did a field trip to Las Golandrinas, which is a historic ranch an hour away from us. There was so much to see and experience.

The older boys usually shower, but both of them wanted to jump into the bath with Liam, and somehow he let them.

We went to Utah while we Airbnb'd our house for Balloon Fiesta.
Here are the boys sitting together for sacrament meeting at church.

We had a joint October birthday party.

Adelina was soooo good to Liam.

We went to an animal experience place, where the boys were able to hold and see all kinds of animals.

We hiked up Ogden Canyon one evening.

Here's one of our favorite parks to visit when we're staying with Lamoni's parents. It's in Logan Canyon right on a stream and fully canopied with trees.

We went to a corn maze with Lamoni's parents and sister. There were a bunch of fun activities for the kids too.

We went on a hike one afternoon with everyone.

I got to bring Benjamin to General Conference! It was a really special experience and so fun to do with him. He got a really good sleep in when they dimmed the lights with the cool air and calming voices. Haha. We decided it would be a fun tradition to do each time a new kid is old enough (8).

There's the SLC temple behind us that's under renovation.

We watched the remaining sessions with Lamoni's sister and her family in Orem.
