March 2020

One of the last times we got to have family dinner and play games before gatherings were forbidden due to COVID-19.

Grandma Bear's last trip to Albuquerque before the temple and everything shut down. She got some good Liam snuggles in!

I finally let Benjamin skip naps. Now that we're home in the evenings and he can go to bed earlier there wasn't a need. Except for sometimes...

We got to go to a fractal show with Jacob and Kathryn at the Museum of Natural History. We also were able to see Venus through the telescope there! Then we walked around the museum a bit and saw dinosaurs. A good quote from Peter is when I told him not to climb on the displays. I pointed at the placard and told him that's what they said. He told me, while tracing his finger along the words, "No, it says, 'you can climb on this if you want to. But my mother told me no. It's okay, you can!'" Then he looked at me and said, "see?"

Watching a movie on our 11 inch computer screen sitting in a 1 man seat with 4 people. We know how to do movies! Haha

They read books the same way they watch movies.

We've been going on lots of family walks now that everything is closed.

He is sooo cute!

Church was shut down due to COVID so we've been holding church at home. Our awesome singing leader has been sending out fun children's lessons for us to do every week. This one they were supposed to make microphones to sing one of the songs and send her a picture.

Up on the hill across from our house.

Look at this sunset! That's our house on the left.

This is my life now. Teaching on Zoom! It's been going better than I thought it would. It's kind of nice that I can mute it, yell something to the kids, then turn it back on.

Liam is in 9 month clothes! He was 17 pounds at his 4 month check up.

Benjamin takes such good care of Liam and Peter is great at entertaining him.

Watching a movie on the projector. We have a 20 foot wall that we project it onto when we don't want to watch it on an 11 inch screen.

I told Peter, "You can look at books, but I don't want to find them all over the floor in the morning!" What I meant was to put them away when he was done, instead I found a huge stack of books next to his bed when I went in to check on him.

Mel and Melinda were cast in the Book of Mormon movies our church made! It's so fun for the boys to see their grandparents in them. Here's a picture of Melinda in one of the scenes with Abinadi.

Yep, that's poop! I heard the explosion but didn't think anything of it til I felt warmth spreading on my leg and looked down to this. It left a nice puddle on the floor too.
My mom had her birthday on March 31st. We did a social distance celebration for her, taking turns visiting outside. Benjamin played Happy Birthday for her on cello and I made a pineapple cake since she isn't eating flour or sugar.
