November

The most exciting thing that happened this year is Liam's arrival! He was born on November 22nd.

Sunday family dinner

Benjamin gave his book 2 recital before Liam came.

We got home from Michigan and the next day I started rehearsals for a concert at UNM. I was fine at 35 weeks but 36 weeks pregnant started to get to me. I couldn't breathe sitting down and was so tired I actually fell asleep while playing and played during a rest! It was so embarrassing. We had the concert at 37 weeks pregnant. It was fun bowing around my stomach.

He's such a handsome guy I just had to take a picture!

The grandkids always have such a fun time playing at grandma and grandpa's. Here they are raking piles of leaves to the bottom of the slides and then sliding down into them.

Charity and I went to lunch to lunch with a former teacher of ours and left the 4 kids with Grandma Kara. We came back to a huge mess!

Aunt Kathy came to UNM from Oklahoma to do a presentation so she got to see how big the kids have grown. We had a nice time visiting with her.

Charity and my mom threw a nice baby sprinkle for me! My mom made strata and crepes - my two favorite foods.

After the baby shower was done we went to see Aunt Kathy's presentation.

Benjamin still spends hours every day doing art, making books and writing.

We were late to family dinner one Sunday (more than one Sunday...) and I was impressed with how many cars could fit in front of their house!

Playing games together after dinner.

The first thing Peter does in the morning is ask to "see the baby." He lies on my stomach as often as I let him. And of course if Peter does something Benjamin wants to too.

My weekly bribe to make it through a week. I enjoyed California rolls (with just avocado and cucumber) sooo much! Peter calls it my "Shushi".

Week 38 or 39.

Benjamin after cello group lessons at UNM.

We put Christmas up early so we wouldn't have to worry about it after the baby came. The boys were most excited about putting the star on top of the tree.

We went to a birthday party at Gravity trampoline park and the boys loved it so much that we ended up buying a membership. Peter learned what lines are!

Going to bed one night I looked down and it was just so pretty I had to take a picture.

Benjamin made all the characters from Toy Story 4 after watching the movie.

Lamoni and I had a broadcast to watch about the new youth program that came out in 2020 so the boys put up every single ornament themselves.

I had just finished telling Lamoni how impressed I was that not a single ornament had broken when Peter came over to show me a reindeer...then accidentally dropped it.

Papa playing Bingo with the kids.

Visiting Santa at Cabela's. It was odd not having one of the kids afraid of him for the picture.

Peter was putting something away in his dresser when he fell and the edge of the drawer scrapped him! It left quite the scar.

Ninja turtles I think.

I had Liam at Dar a Luz. His story is so neat because I went into labor on the day I picked out, which happened to be the same day Lamoni chose and it was the first snow of the year, which I had told Peter all summer that "when it snows Liam will come out." My water broke about 11:30 p.m., went to the birth center at 3 a.m. and had him at 5 a.m. in the water. I did hypnobirthing and it was an amazing experience.
