September pictures

Here Peter is at 4 months old.

He's a thumb-sucker!

Sunday dinner listening to Grandma playing hymns.

Giving Grandma and Papa a concert.

We had all kinds of adventures in September. Here we are hiking Bandelier National Monument. Definitely worth it!

You have to park in White Sands and take a bus ride in that took about 20 minutes if I remember right. It was a beautiful route and was nice to sit together and look at the view.

Peter slept the majority of the time in the Ergo.

Benjamin still enjoys being carried.

This Canyon wall is full of holes that the indigenous people built their homes in! The floor of the canyon was the city center and the people lived in the mountain. Sort of like Mesa Verde.

There were multiple caves we could climb into.

Looking out at the canyon.

Benjamin loved playing in this stream which is unusual because typically he doesn't like getting wet. We had to pull him away to hike up to the highest cave.

The bus ride back everyone was tired and cold. It was pouring rain when we left.

Lamoni and Benjamin at cello class.

We enjoy going to the New Mexico State Fair each year.

Old McDonald's Farm was probably the favorite this year.

Benjamin actually enjoyed the petting zoo for the first time!

It's like he's in a different world when he is full play-mode.

He is good at doing puzzles.

I let him look at books before he goes to sleep at night. He tosses each one when he is done with it. Look at all those books!

Dress like a pirate day at Krispy Kreme.

I made Mediterranean food one night. Never again. That was so much work! Much faster (and probably cheaper) just to buy it out.

Holding hands. So sweet. Benjamin is thrilled to have someone in the back with him.

We hiked the volcanos with some friends.

This shield goes with him most places.

Lamoni's birthday present was to drive a Ferrari on a course for 3 laps. He LOVED it. So did Benjamin.

Lamoni and Benjamin went on a Daddy date to see the Santa Fe steam engine.

Out with the old in with the new - sold our Mazda Tribute in the back and bought a Toyota Highlander
